How does a stock work?
Making the conceptual leap from understanding a business to understanding the stock of a given business business can be hard. In lesson 2 we break down exactly what it means to own stock in a company that you're already familiar with: The Walt Disney Company.

What is a stock worth?
It's obvious that companies should be worth something: Companies own actual stuff after all. But how to estimate a value for what a company is worth is not at all obvious. In this lesson, I layout an easy to learn framework for valuing a company.

Real world case studies
In the fourth lesson we will analyze 3 real world case studies of companies that you already know and probably understand: Coca-Cola, Mcdonald's, and Amazon. We look at how these businesses operate and work through an analysis of each to assign a value to the stocks.

See how investing works in real life
The investing simulator allows you to get a sense of how investing works in the real world. It follows 5 companies over a 10 year peoriod. Every two days for 3 weeks you will recieve real world information about these companies and be asked to make an investment decision to grow your portfolio.
